These resources were created to help every customer find their perfect Lauren Bentley Swimwear fit. When considering your size, we have many fit resources available to you, including sizing charts, How To Measure diagrams, as well as our Size Recommender. Women's Swimwear
There are three basic measurements needed for our women's swimwear; bust, waist, and hips. We recommend that you pay extra attention to your hip measurement, as this is the most resistant area of the garment. Referring to the measurement diagram below, measure your bust and hips at their widest proportion and your waist at its smallest proportion.
If you are purchasing a top from a swimwear set, you should also reference your underbust measurement. Referring to the measurement diagram below, measure your bust at its widest proportion and your underbust where the band of your bra would usually sit.
If you are purchasing one of our Cap Sleeve items, it is important that you reference your across shoulder measurement. Due to the nature of our Cap Sleeve styles, the garment has to be selected based on your across shoulder measurement. If your across shoulder measurement does not fall into the same recommended size bracket as your remaining body measurements (bust, waist, and hips), yet you plan to purchase anyway, we recommend seeking a professional to help tailor the garment to your size specifications.
Referring to the measurement diagram below, your across shoulder can be taken from where one can feel their shoulder bone meet their arm, which can be located by pressing the area with your fingers. Use a measuring tape behind you to measure between this point on either side of your body.
Our women's sizes run true-to-size. However, if you are between sizes or prefer more coverage, we recommend to size up.
Note: Due to the flexile nature of our women’s fabric, some of our size chart measurement ranges overlap. We understand that every individual has differing body proportions, so this allows for flexibility when considering your most accurate LBS size, while remaining confident that fit and support will not be compromised.
Men's Swimwear
There are two key measurements that will help you find your perfect size for LBS swimming trunks: waist and hips. Referring to the measurement diagram below, measure your waist where the waistband of your pants typically sit and your hips at their widest point.
Our men's garments are made of a woven polyester fabric that does not naturally have stretch. For this reason, if you are between sizes or prefer a looser fit, we recommend sizing up.
Note: Our size charts show approximate measurements. Small variations may occur due to the characteristics of the fabrics, seasonal changes in fits, and particular washing effects. We recommend referring to each product’s individual Fit Concierge page for additional sizing tips and details.
